The present Age of Information has exposed us to technology that has revolutionized our social interactions and access to knowledge.  It has also made data and information unendingly available.  With the reliance on empirics, however, an apathy towards incredibly sensitive human experiences has been normalized in modern map making and numerical representations of place.  This project addresses this issue by redrawing maps of Chicago’s polarized neighborhoods through means that aspire to register empathy, experience, and tangibility of place and home with, and through, digitally available data.
